Over The Hill Farm Team

Over The Hill Farm had a successful East Coast Fall Indoor circuit, with great performances and many wonderful memories made from the Capital Challenge in Maryland at the end of September to the Washington International Horse Show in late October in Washington, D.C.

The Capital Challenge Horse Show started the series, and we want to congratulate our amazing team of horses and riders! 

Special recognition to:

  • iParty, owned and ridden by Alexa Lignelli- Small Pony Hunter Champion, 1st in the Small Pony Handy Hunter Stake
  • Pajama Party, ridden by Agatha Lignelli- 3rd in the Children's Hunter Horse & Pony Challenge
  • Sir Dragon, owned and ridden by Emma Hechtman - great ribbons at Emma's Capital Challenge show, including 3rd place in the Small Pony Handy Hunter Stake
  • Rollingwood's Knee Deep, owned and ridden by Alexa Lignelli- great ribbons in the Small Pony Hunters, including 2nd in the Small Pony Handy Hunter Stake
  • Fox Creek's Curious George, owned and ridden by Alexa Lignelli- great ribbons in the Medium Pony Hunters
  • Adam Edgar riding Bill Schaub's Magnolia - 10th out of over 100 riders in the North American Equitation Championship
  • Q-Pid, new owner Ally Sinclair, ridden by Adam Edgar- Grand Champion 3'3" Junior Hunters, Champion Sec A 3'3" Junior Hunters, Best 3'3" Junior Hunter Trip, Best Junior Rider on 3'3" Junior Hunter
  • Money Tree, owned and ridden by Agatha Lignelli- WCHR Midwest Champion Children's Horse/Pony

Our talented team continued to show off their hard work and great riding at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.

  • iParty, owned and ridden by Alexa Lignelli- Small Pony Hunter Champion
  • Rollingwood's Knee Deep, owned and ridden by Alexa Lignelli-Small Pony Hunter Reserve Champion with the help of Agatha Lignelli riding in the Under Saddle class
  • Alexa Lignelli was also awarded 2nd in Best Child Rider on a Pony
  • Sir Dragon, owned and ridden by Emma Hechtman- 4th and 5th in the Small Pony Hunters at Emma's first Pennsylvania National Horse Show
  • Adam Edgar, riding Bill Schaub's Magnolia, had a lovely Medal Finals round in his last trip to Harrisburg as a junior
